Dr Nathaniel Heah
Dr Nathaniel Heah is a UK fellowship-trained Consultant Urologist with subspecialty expertise in Andrology, Reconstructive Urology and Endoscopic Surgery. He completed his fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at University College London Hospital (UCLH), where he focused on urethral stricture surgery and complex reconstructive urological procedures. He is also an executive committee member of the Singapore Urological Association and the Society of Men’s Health Singapore.
Dr Heah graduated from Monash University in 2008 and completed his specialist training in Urology in 2020. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, Chapter of Urology (FAMS), and is accredited in minimally invasive stone and laparoscopic procedures in major hospitals. He currently serves as a Visiting Consultant at Woodlands Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Previously, Dr Heah was a Consultant Urologist at Woodlands Health Hospital, where he was part of the founding team involved in planning and opening the new public hospital. During his time there, he helped introduce advanced urological treatments including inflatable penile prosthesis insertion for erectile dysfunction, Thulium Fibre Laser Enucleation of the Prostate, transperineal prostate biopsy, and Urolift for benign prostate enlargement.
His clinical interests include general urology, men’s health, benign prostate disease, urethral reconstruction, urogynaecology, stone disease, and minimally invasive surgical therapy. He performs a range of specialised procedures including urethroplasty for urethral strictures, vesico-vaginal fistula repair, REZUM and Urolift procedures, microsurgical varicocelectomy, supine mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy, artificial urinary sphincter procedures, bladder relaxing medication injections, sacral nerve stimulation, and posterior tibial nerve stimulation.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Heah has been actively involved in medical education as a Clinical Tutor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is also a speaker in the fields of men’s health and benign prostate disease, and is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life, confidence, relationships, and overall wellbeing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served on the frontline and was awarded the COVID-19 Resilience Medal in recognition of his contributions.

Minimally invasive treatment options for urinary stone disease, including supine mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
