Dr. Bernard Ong
Dr. Bernard Ong obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Prior to his medical career, he was an elite-level competitive badminton player, earning Sports Scholarships at both Singapore Sports School and the National University of Singapore, and representing Singapore at the Youth Olympic Games. His background in high-performance sport gave him an early appreciation of the human body, physical conditioning, discipline, and the close relationship between appearance, vitality, confidence, and overall well-being.
This athletic foundation continues to shape Dr. Ong’s approach to aesthetic and wellness medicine today. He believes that wellness is not merely the absence of illness, but the active pursuit of one’s best physical self. Having experienced first-hand how strength, conditioning, and confidence can influence performance and quality of life, Dr. Ong brings a holistic perspective to patient care. His goal is to help individuals achieve results that are natural, balanced, and sustainable, while supporting how they look, feel, and carry themselves in everyday life.
Dr. Ong’s clinical training spans multiple surgical specialties across leading tertiary institutions, including Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This experience has built a strong foundation in procedural precision, patient safety, and evidence-based medical practice. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ong has published research in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at medical conferences, receiving accolades including a Best Oral Presentation award. He remains committed to staying current with medical advances and delivering individualized care that is thoughtful, safe, and grounded in clinical evidence.
